Tolaga Bay wharf - Allow half an hour to walk to the end of Tolaga Bay wharf and back. At 660 metres in length, this is no ordinary pier. Opened in 1929 and is one of the top 100 historic sites to visit in the country. believed to be the longest wharf of its type in the Southern Hemisphere, standing where Captain Cook sailed to meet the Te Aitanga a Hauiti tribe when the Endeavour first reached New Zealand.
Waitangi Falls is roughly a 50-minutes' drive away from Auckland City or just 15-minutes from Pukekohe. Waitangi Falls is located in the southern part of Manukau Harbor, close to Waiuku. This magnificent waterfall is easily accessible from the road, and a swimming spot at the base of the waterfall is very popular among the locals.
